Suzuki Teacher Professional Development for violin/viola, cello, piano, flute and guitar – Wednesday 19 to Saturday 22 April 2023
- includes live in person instrument specific sessions for 3 hours for violin/viola, cello, piano and guitar on Wednesday 19 April
- live in person tonalisation sessions Thursday 20 to Saturday 22 April (30 minutes) plus observation of student classes
- online recorded series (5 hours) of all instruments and further instrument specific PD later in 2023
Suzuki Student Programs for violin/viola, cello, piano, flute and guitar – Thursday 20, Friday 21 AND Saturday 22 April (all students attend classes on each of the three days).
- Book 1 students of all instruments participate in 2 classes per day (there will be a 4 session timetable and students will have classes in two of these sessions and time off in the other two sessions)
- Piano Book 2 to Book 4 Gavotte from Suite in G minor students will also participate in 2 classes per day (there will be a 4 session timetable and students will have classes in two of these sessions and time off in the other two sessions)
- Book 2+ students of all other instruments will participate in 3 classes per day (there will be a 4 session timetable and students will have classes in three of these sessions and time off in the other session)
- Piano Book 4 Minuets and Gigue from Partita in Bb to post book students will participate in 3 classes per day (there will be a 4 session timetable and students will have classes in three of these sessions and time off in the other session)
Session 1 will commence at 10am and Session 4 will conclude at 2:30pm so all group classes will occur within this period of time. There will be auditioned solo concerts for students to apply to participate in on the Thursday (all levels) and Friday (advanced students) afternoons plus a group concert on Saturday afternoon for all enrolled children to participate in. These concerts will generally finish by 5pm.
